06/08/04 - White Rock

With a whitewater rafting trip scheduled for the following week, and our big trip to San Francisco coming up in October, Jen decided we should do something low key for our three year 'anniversary'.

So, we spent a weekend in White Rock, which was really nice as I hadn't been there for at least a dozen years. Also, it's quite a difference what your frame of mind can make when you go somewhere: this weekend really did feel like a 'mini-vacation', even though we were only 45 minutes away from home.
